Postdoctoral Researcher in the Cognitive Neuroscience of Memory and Decision Making
The Bakkour Memory and Decision Laboratory in the Department of Psychology at the University of Chicago (PI: Akram Bakkour) is seeking a full-time postdoctoral researcher to join the lab.
The Memory and Decision lab is focused on understanding the cognitive and neural mechanisms by which relational memory guides and is influenced by decision making. To conduct our research, we use a combination of the tools of cognitive neuroscience; namely fMRI, eyetracking, computational modeling, and neuropsychological studies with patients that have known cognitive deficits (e.g., Amnesia, Parkinson’s Disease, Anorexia Nervosa).
